Dehradun,6 September (HS): Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has slammed the opposition for weaving anti-India language into India vs. India. The Chief Minister fiercely targeted the opposition over the India versus India issue.
Chief Minister Dhami clearly said in the Assembly on Wednesday: What problem does the opposition have with the word India? He said that we have all been saying Bharat Mata ki Jai since childhood. He said that the statements coming from the opposition show what their thinking is towards Sanatan Dharma. Targeting Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi, he said that the silence of Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, despite the statements of all the big leaders included in the alliance, supports this statement. He said that India was the right word.
The president’s use of the word India is absolutely appropriate. A political Mahabharata erupted when ‘President of India’ was written in the invitation card for the dinner given by the President during the G-20 Summit. Regarding this, the opposition has alleged that the central government wants to change both the names of the country from India to India.
