Gautam Buddh Nagar: Responding to the recent protests by industrial workers in Gautam Buddh Nagar, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi stated that the government has taken the matter with utmost seriousness. He noted that consistent policy decisions and governance efforts have contributed to positioning the state as a major growth engine of India.

According to the minister, Uttar Pradesh’s industrial progress is the result of sustained efforts by the government and active participation of all stakeholders, including investors, industrial units, and workers. He stated that the state has created a favorable environment for business and investment, attracting leading domestic and international companies.
The minister added that while investor interests remain important, the welfare of industrial workers and labourers is equally a priority for the government. He described the recent incident in Gautam Buddh Nagar as unfortunate and serious, reiterating the administration’s commitment to maintaining industrial peace.
