Bhopal, 6 September (HS): union Road Transport Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the farmer of the country is not only becoming a provider of food but also a provider of energy. For the first time, we have used bioethanol prepared by farmers in vehicles. The village should be prosperous; it should become a smart village like a smart city. I am proud that, under the guidance of Prime Minister Modi, Chief Minister Shivraj has changed the lives of the poor by giving 44 lakh PM houses in Madhya Pradesh. Under the leadership of Modi, the countrymen are getting 24-hour electricity, good roads, and drinking water facilities. Farmers should not only become food providers but also energy providers. This resolution of ours is being fulfilled under the leadership of the Prime Minister.

Union Minister Gadkari was addressing a public meeting organised on the inauguration of the BJP’s fifth Jan Ashirwad Yatra from Khandwa during his stay in Madhya Pradesh on Wednesday. He flagged off the Jan Ashirwad Yatra along with Chief Minister Chouhan and other public representatives. While addressing the public meeting, he praised Chief Minister Shivraj fiercely. He said that if Madhya Pradesh has become a powerhouse of development, then the credit goes to Shivraj Singh. Right now, there is a trailer for Vikas; the actual film has yet to start.

Gadkari said that the BJP government’s resolution is to ensure the welfare of the village, the poor, and the farmer. I would like to thank Chief Minister Chouhan for the fact that Madhya Pradesh has received the Krishi Karman Award seven consecutive times. At one time, Madhya Pradesh was discussed as a sick state; today, it is discussed as a developed state. Madhya Pradesh tops the country in the field of agriculture. He said that this Jan Ashirwad Yatra has come to take your blessings to change the future of Madhya Pradesh and make the farmers prosperous.

After flagging off the Jan Ashirwad Yatra, union Minister Gadkari and Chief Minister Chouhan did a roadshow via the Municipal Corporation, Bombay Bazaar, Ghantaghar, and Kevalram Square. After this, I left for Omkareshwar. Earlier, Gadkari and his wife reached Shri Dadaji temple and offered prayers. He offered sacrifice in the pond of Dhuni Mai. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and State BJP President VD Sharma were also present.

In his address at the meeting, Chief Minister Chouhan gave information about the welfare schemes of the government and expressed his gratitude to the central government. He said that those who do not have houses will be given houses by getting the survey done before the code of conduct. Will implement a housing scheme. He said that the dams were built due to the sacrifice of the people of Khandwa district. Today, Khandwa is the only district in the country where electricity is being generated from water, coal, and solar.
