Sambhal, 07 Sept (HS): A tin shed collapsed at an Uttar Pradesh railway station, injuring numerous persons. The event occurred late on Wednesday at Chandausi railway station in UP’s Sambhal district, as people were waiting for their train. While several passengers rushed to save their lives when the tin shed began to shake, a father-son combo was among those who sustained critical injuries.
After being notified of the event, the Government Railway Police (GRP) rushed on the site and, with the assistance of passengers, pulled the wounded persons from the rubble. After then, the injured were sent to a government hospital for treatment. Some of them were transported to a private hospital as well.
