Washington, 05 Sept (HS): Muddy roads in the northern Nevada deserts left tens of thousands stranded, who had gathered to celebrate the Burning Man festival. The roads became slushy due to heavy rains. The travel was possible only after the roads dried up enough.
The cultural festival is celebrated every year in Nevada deserts of America. A large number of people participate in the celebrations. They enjoy traditional songs, and dances without using any modern electronic gadgets. They live at the site in tents. More than 70,000 people participated in the festival this year. Entry to the venue had to be stopped looking at heavy rush and rainfall. The oragnisers had to take the help of the government machinery to regulate the traffic and to evacuate people from the muddy region.
