Salaam Namaste, the community radio station based at IMS Noida in Sector 62, has launched a new youth-focused radio series, ‘Super Yuva Talkies’, aimed at empowering young people and amplifying their voices. The series will feature youth-led discussions, inspirational stories, and creative presentations, providing a vibrant platform for young talent to engage with social, educational, and cultural issues.
The launch event, held on Saturday, was addressed by Station Head Barsha Chhabaria, who outlined that the primary goal of Super Yuva Talkies is to raise awareness among young people on key social, educational, and cultural topics, while encouraging them to become agents of positive change. Salaam Namaste Community Radio has long been recognized for giving a strong voice to the community, with particular focus on women, children, and youth.

Chhabaria explained that the series will include programs on career guidance, youth leadership development, women’s empowerment, and promotion of local talent. Students and young professionals will receive information on career trends, scholarship opportunities, and skill-building initiatives. At the same time, youth leadership will be encouraged to drive social change through media outreach and community engagement programs. The series will also showcase inspirational stories and interviews with women achievers, alongside a platform for music, art, and other creative expressions.
The launch event saw active participation from students of JKG International School, Vijayanagar. The young participants shared their perspectives on notable achievements and inspiring stories from Uttar Pradesh and raised awareness on important civic topics such as consumer rights, water conservation, cleanliness, and hygiene.

As part of the program, the Salaam Namaste team also recognized and honored exemplary youth participants for their active engagement and contributions to the launch of Super Yuva Talkies. Those honored included Ashish Chauhan, Ritika Pandey, Anshuman Tiwari, Bharat Bhardwaj, and Aditya Raj.
The initiative is expected to foster dialogue, creativity, and leadership among youth, providing them with a platform to express their views, learn from peers, and take an active role in shaping their communities. With its focus on social awareness, skill development, and inspirational storytelling, Super Yuva Talkies aims to nurture the next generation of informed, confident, and socially responsible youth in Noida and beyond.
By combining informative discussions, community engagement, and creative expression, the series reinforces Salaam Namaste’s ongoing commitment to community empowerment while encouraging young voices to be heard, celebrated, and acted upon.
The radio station hopes that Super Yuva Talkies will become a regular feature, inspiring youth to participate actively in social and cultural initiatives, discover new talents, and build networks that promote leadership, learning, and innovation at the grassroots level.
With its official launch, the initiative marks a significant step in using community radio as a tool to connect, educate, and motivate the youth, emphasizing the role of media in driving positive societal change and creating opportunities for young individuals to thrive.
