Shashank Singh’s standout performance, however, turned the tide in PBKS’s favor. His blistering knock, coupled with contributions from other PBKS batsmen, helped the team chase down the target with three wickets to spare.
The result sees PBKS leapfrogging over GT in the IPL 2024 points table, with a notable rise to the fifth position. With this victory, PBKS now holds a net run rate (NRR) of -0.220, while GT’s NRR stands at -0.580.
