Mumbai, 01 September : In the two-day meeting of the I.N.D.I.A Alliance held in Mumbai, leaders of 28 parties approved the proposal to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections together. Along with this, all the parties of the India Alliance have together formed a coordination committee of 14 leaders.
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) leader Sanjay Raut told reporters that important issues were discussed in the meeting of the India Alliance held on Thursday and Friday. In this meeting, a coordination committee of 14 people has been formed to maintain coordination among the leaders of all the parties. Similarly, to maintain coordination among all the parties, a working committee, an election committee, and a campaign committee have been formed. Sanjay Raut said that in this meeting, a proposal has also been passed for seat sharing for the Lok Sabha elections among all the parties, joint protests at all places on issues of public interest, and holding meetings together at various places. Sanjay Raut said that in the meeting of the India Alliance, all the leaders decided to work together on issues of public interest.
After the meeting of the India Alliance, leaders of all parties addressed the Joint Press Council and claimed that there would be a change in power at the Centre in 2024.
