In a significant development poised to chart the course for the future of financial technology, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address the second edition of the Infinity Forum 2.0. Hosted by the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) and GIFT City, with the support of the Government of India, this prestigious event is scheduled to take place on December 9, 2023.
Building on the resounding success of its inaugural edition in December 2021, which saw an astounding 95,000+ registrations from over 80 countries, Infinity Forum 2.0 promises to be an even more monumental milestone. The inaugural edition featured a dynamic ‘FinTech Showcase,’ boasting over 100 virtual exhibitors alongside the main event, demonstrating the innovative prowess of the global fintech ecosystem.
“The Forum is hosted by IFSCA as a global thought leadership platform on financial services, where progressive ideas, pressing problems, innovative technologies from across the world get Discovered, Discussed and Developed into solutions and opportunities,” government release said.

This year’s event, organized as a precursor to the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, will adopt a hybrid format. It will combine an invite-only, exclusive in-person gathering at GIFT City with virtual participation from individuals worldwide, ensuring inclusivity and an unparalleled reach.
Distinguished speakers hailing from both the Union Government and the Government of Gujarat will grace the event. Notable figures such as Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal, and Minister for Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Ashwini Vaishnaw, will share their insights and visions. Key figures such as Ajay Seth, Secretary, DEA, Ministry of Finance, and K. Rajaraman, Chairperson, IFSCA, will also address the participants.
Renowned luminaries including Hasmukh Adhia, Chairman, GIFT City Co. Ltd; Tapan Ray, MD & CEO, GIFT City Co. Ltd.; K. V. In a noteworthy development, the event will be preceded by an “Investors Meet” scheduled for December 8, 2023. This exclusive session will be dedicated to FinTech entities authorized by IFSCA, recommended by institutions with MoUs with IFSCA, or affiliated with IFSCA-approved accelerators. The Investors Meet will feature a pitching session for FinTech entities to showcase their innovative products and solutions, complemented by one-on-one meetings between participating investors and select FinTech entities.
Infinity Forum 2.0 anticipates attracting over 300 CXOs for in-person participation, while a global audience from more than 20 countries, including the USA, UK, Singapore, South Africa, UAE, Australia, and Germany, is expected to join virtually. The event is also poised to draw CXOs from prominent global organizations, foreign university Vice-Chancellors, and representatives from foreign embassies.
