New Delhi, August 30 : The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released the latest update regarding the Chandrayaan-3 mission. ISRO has shared a picture of Vikram Lander taken by Pragyan Rover on Wednesday morning. The’mission image’ was taken by the navigation camera mounted on the rover. NavCam (Navigation Camera Onboard the Rover) electro-optic systems for the Chandrayaan-3 mission have been developed by the laboratory. That means it is a completely indigenous camera.
Pictures shared by ISRO show the Vikram lander with its payloads, Cheste and ILSAA. The Pragyan rover has two payloads, while the Vikram lander has three payloads, which will conduct various types of research on the lunar surface.
