Poco has expanded its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Poco M7 5G. The handset arrives with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, an IP52-rated build for dust and splash resistance, and a 5,160mAh battery. It also features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The company claims that the device offers the segment’s largest display and is certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light, flicker-free usage, and circadian-friendly visuals. The smartphone joins the Poco M7 Pro 5G, which was introduced in India in December 2024.
The Poco M7 5G is available in two storage variants. The base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is priced at Rs. 9,999, while the 8GB RAM variant costs Rs. 10,999. However, these prices are applicable only for the first day of sale, which begins on March 7 via Flipkart at 12 PM. The device is offered in three color options: Mint Green, Ocean Blue, and Satin Black.
In terms of display, the Poco M7 5G sports a 6.88-inch HD+ (720 x 1,640 pixels) screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate, ensuring smooth scrolling and improved gaming responsiveness. It boasts a peak brightness level of up to 600 nits, providing better visibility in bright environments. The TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free usage ensure a comfortable viewing experience, reducing eye strain during extended use.
Under the hood, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor, coupled with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. It runs on Android 14-based HyperOS, offering a streamlined and customizable software experience.

The smartphone is backed by a 5,160mAh battery, supporting 18W wired charging. Interestingly, the company includes a 33W charger in the box, allowing users to charge their device faster.
