Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful speech at Adampur Air Base in Punjab, reiterating his government’s tough stance on national security and terrorism. In his address, he emphasized that India would take decisive actions, even if it meant crossing borders, to neutralize terrorist threats. The Prime Minister visited the Adampur Air Base to interact with Indian Air Force personnel who have been involved in operations during the ongoing conflict with Pakistan. In his fiery speech, PM Modi paid tribute to the Indian armed forces, acknowledging their bravery and the sacrifices they make for the nation. He specifically praised the soldiers who participated in Operation Sindoor, an operation targeting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), in retaliation for a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam on April 22.
“Ghar Mein Ghuske Maarenge” – A Bold Message
PM Modi’s phrase, “Hum ghar mein ghus kar maarenge,” has become symbolic of India’s aggressive posture toward terrorism and cross-border threats. He referenced past surgical strikes, including the 2016 operation and the 2019 Balakot airstrikes, to underscore India’s readiness to take bold actions if necessary. PM Modi’s speech also carried a strong message to Pakistan, warning that India would give a fitting response to any mischief from the neighboring country, but on its own terms.
He also praised the leadership and courage of India’s military forces, including the Army, Navy, and Air Force, for their unwavering commitment to the nation’s security. In his remarks, PM Modi made it clear that the leaders behind terrorism have understood the consequences of provoking India.
