Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Adampur Air Force Station in Punjab, delivering a powerful message on India’s defense capabilities and its unwavering stance against nuclear blackmail. Speaking to the Indian Air Force personnel, who were instrumental in the recent conflict with Pakistan, PM Modi highlighted the importance of India’s military might in addressing external threats, including Pakistan’s attempts at nuclear intimidation.
During his address, PM Modi invoked the iconic chant “Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” emphasizing its significance as a rallying cry for every Indian ready to defend the nation. He stated, “When our forces deflate the bluff of nuclear blackmail, our enemies understand the real strength of India.” This remark came as a stark reminder that India will not bow to any form of nuclear threats or intimidation, showcasing the country’s resolve in defending its sovereignty.
PM Modi Praises Indian Forces
The Prime Minister also took the opportunity to discuss Operation Sindoor, which was launched in response to the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam area on April 22. He lauded the Indian Armed Forces for their swift and decisive action, noting that Operation Sindoor was not a routine military operation but a major step toward eliminating terrorism. PM Modi underscored the defeat of the Pakistani army, which harbored terrorists within its ranks, by the bravery of the Indian forces.
He saluted the Air Force, Navy, and Army personnel, acknowledging their sacrifice and courage. “Today, the echo of Operation Sindoor is heard across the country, thanks to your valor,” he remarked. The Prime Minister also praised India’s air defense systems, which successfully neutralized Pakistani attempts to strike, including the failure of Pakistan’s drones, missiles, and aircraft against India’s formidable defenses.
Rebuttal to Pakistan’s Claims
PM Modi’s visit to Adampur also served as a rebuttal to Pakistan’s claims that it had destroyed India’s S-400 air defense system during the conflict. The Prime Minister was seen saluting in front of the S-400, countering Pakistan’s narrative of having damaged the system. Indian military officials had previously dismissed these claims, asserting that Pakistan’s reports were false. Wing Commander Vyomika Singh had labeled Pakistan’s assertion about the S-400 as “completely false,” with Indian authorities also debunking the narrative that Pakistan’s jets had launched hypersonic missiles to destroy the system.
The visit and Modi’s speech underscored India’s growing confidence in its defense capabilities and its determination to safeguard its interests, despite external pressures and misinformation. It also reaffirmed the strong stance of the Indian military in ensuring national security and its readiness to face any challenges head-on, including those from Pakistan.
