Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled for a two-day visit to TMC-led West Bengal, during which he will conduct a massive roadshow in the capital city of Kolkata on Tuesday ahead of the 7th phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections.
In anticipation of the large crowd expected to gather for the prime minister’s poll campaign, the Kolkata police have issued a traffic advisory for commuters for both days to ensure smooth vehicular movement.
According to the advisory, traffic diversions will primarily affect College Street, Aurobinda Sarani, Vivekananda Road, and areas near Raj Bhawan.
PM Modi is set to arrive in West Bengal on Tuesday afternoon, where he will hold public meetings at Ashoknagar in the Barasat constituency at 2:30 pm, followed by another meeting in Jadavpur at 4 pm. In the evening, he will pay floral tributes at the statue of Subhas Chandra Bose.
