The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG) application window is set to close on March 9, urging candidates who have not yet submitted their forms to complete the process promptly. Applications can be filled at the official website, neet.ntaonline.in. The correction window and the date for the release of admit cards will be announced by the agency at a later date.

The NEET UG application form was released on February 9, and the process is being conducted exclusively at the new official website, neet.ntaonline.in. As per the official notification, the examination is scheduled to take place on May 5.

During the NEET UG 2024 application process, candidates are required to upload proof of their present and permanent addresses, such as Aadhar card, domicile certificate, passport, or voter ID, among others. Both documents, if applicable, must be merged and uploaded as a single PDF file. If the present and permanent addresses of a candidate are the same, then a single document will suffice, as instructed by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to apply for NEET UG 2024:

Step 1: Visit the official website, neet.ntaonline.in Step 2: If you are a new student, apply through the ‘new registration’ link, or log in through the provided link. Step 3: Complete the new registration process by filling in details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number, and email address. Step 4: Once registered, log in using your application number and password. Step 5: Fill out the application form with accurate information. Step 6: Save, submit, and pay the required fees. Step 7: Download the completed application form for future reference.

Candidates are advised to use their own mobile number and email address, or that of their parents or guardians, as all communication related to NEET will be sent to the registered email or phone number only.

During the online application process, aspirants need to pay an application fee. For Indian candidates belonging to the General Category, the registration fee is Rs 1,700. However, there are relaxations for reserved categories, with the application fee being Rs 1,600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL candidates and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/third gender candidates.

The NEET UG 2024 application process is a crucial step for candidates aspiring to pursue undergraduate medical and dental courses in India.
