Poonch, 11 September : Continuing it’s drive against drug peddlers on Anti drugs front, Poonch Police under the overall supervision of SSP Poonch Sh.Vinay sharma (JKPS) on Sunday evening arrested one narcotic smuggler namely Zakir Hussain S/o Mohd Latief R/0 Tain Tehsil Mankote and recovered approx five grams of heroine like substance from him during nakka checking.
In this regard, a case has been registered at Mendhar Police Station and investigation of the case has been taken up.
The team headed by Insp. Sajad Iqbal SHO PS Mendhar under the supervision of SDPO Mendhar Sheezan Bhat ( JKPS ) apprehended the drug peddler in Mendhar area and recovered Heroin like substance from him.
