Highlights
  • From PwC to G20, her journey inspires future CAs.
  • Youngest Chartered Accountant globally at just 19 years old.

At just 19, Nandini Agrawal from Morena, Madhya Pradesh, accomplished what many spend years chasing — she became the youngest Chartered Accountant (CA) in the world. Her journey from a small town to holding a Guinness World Record is nothing short of extraordinary. With a rapidly growing social media presence and an impressive corporate career, Nandini has turned her academic excellence into an inspiring platform for aspiring CAs across India.

Cracking India’s toughest exam at 19

Becoming a CA in India is known to be one of the most rigorous professional challenges, typically requiring multiple years of study and several exam attempts. But Nandini proved to be an exception. Born on October 18, 2001, she not only cleared the CA Final examination at the age of 19 but also topped the exam nationwide. According to the India Book of Records, she appeared for the CA Final (New) exam in July 2021 and secured the All India Rank 1 at 19 years, 8 months, and 18 days — a feat officially confirmed on November 29, 2021.

Her achievement was later recognized by the Guinness World Records, making her the youngest female CA globally. Notably, she had earlier secured AIR 31 in the CA Intermediate examination at the age of just 16.

From audit rooms to the G20 team

Nandini’s academic brilliance translated smoothly into a dynamic professional journey. She began her corporate stint as an article trainee at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where she gained hands-on experience in statutory audits, group and referred reporting, IFRS assignments, tax audits, and forensic audits. Her LinkedIn bio highlights her three years of rich experience across diverse accounting domains.

She later joined the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as an associate management consultant, where she worked for nearly one and a half years. During her tenure at BCG, she was also part of their G20 team, contributing to high-level global initiatives. Currently, she is working as a private equity analyst, further broadening her expertise in the financial sector.

Apart from her professional achievements, Nandini has cultivated a robust online presence. With more than two lakh subscribers on YouTube and over 74,000 followers on Instagram, she regularly shares tips on cracking CA exams and offers study strategies to students. Her digital content aims to demystify the CA journey and make it more accessible to aspirants.

Nandini’s story is not just about breaking records; it’s about redefining what’s possible with dedication, discipline, and a desire to share success with others.
