While political parties are busy campaigning during the elections, the Election Commission is committed to conducting free and fair elections.
Nomination Process for the second phase of elections in Madhya Pradesh has been completed. The process for filing nominations for the second phase of elections is underway. So far, a total of 8 candidates have filed their nomination papers for the second phase.
8 Candidates Filed Nomination Papers
Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan informed that as per the schedule of Lok Sabha elections, the process of filing nomination papers for the second phase is ongoing. He stated that so far, a total of 8 candidates have filed their nominations for the second phase, out of which 7 candidates submitted their nomination papers on Saturday. Officer Rajan mentioned that candidates can submit their nomination papers for the second phase until April 4th.

Additionally, the Chief Electoral Officer also provided information that the public can visit the website of the Election Commission of India: https://affidavit.eci.gov.in/ to read the affidavits of all the candidates who have filed nominations, along with other relevant details. He stated that the scrutiny of nominations submitted for the second phase will take place on April 5th. Voting for the second phase will take place in the state on April 26th.
