The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has declared the commencement of the registration process for Class 1 admissions for the academic year 2024-2025, starting from April 1 at 11 am. Parents are required to fill out the online application form available on the official KVS websites — kvsangathan.nic.in and kvsonlineadmission.kvs.gov.in.
The admission application form is systematically divided into five sections, each accessible under a separate tab. Here are the various section/tab headings:
- Basic Information
- Parents Details
- Choice of Schools
- Upload Documents
- Declaration and Submit
Before initiating the application process, it is essential to have the following documents and information readily available:
- A valid mobile number with an Indian SIM card
- A valid email address
- A digital or scanned photograph of the child seeking admission (JPEG file of size up to 256KB)
- A scan copy of the child’s birth certificate (JPEG or PDF file of size up to 256KB)
- Details of government certificate if applying under the economically weak section
- Transfer details of parent/grandparent whose service credentials will be utilized in the application
It’s important to note that the application submitted to the Sangathan will only be considered complete once an application submission code is received from the online admission portal. Until then, the application data will not be visible to the candidate.
For candidates applying under the Single Girl Child category, the process remains the same. They are required to submit the online application form and upload the necessary documents, without the need to directly contact the Principal of the Vidyalaya.
