One of the key highlights was the launch of the eHUB app by MG, designed to be a comprehensive solution for EV charging across the country. This app aims to simplify the EV charging experience for customers by providing a unified platform. The company has partnered with numerous charging networks, including Adani Total Energies Limited (ATEL), BPCL, Chargezone, Glida, HPCL, Jio-BP, Shell, Statiq, Zeon, among others. The eHUB app, available in 11 languages, is equipped with trip-planning features to enhance user convenience.
In addition to the eHUB app, JSW MG Motor India introduced Project REVIVE, a collaborative initiative with TERI, Lohum, and BatX. This project focuses on repurposing EV batteries beyond their use in vehicles, contributing to sustainable energy solutions.
Another significant launch was EVPEDIA, India’s first dedicated educational and knowledge platform for electric car users. This platform aims to provide comprehensive information and resources to educate consumers about EVs, fostering greater adoption and understanding of electric mobility.
Furthermore, the event marked the announcement of the MG-Jio ‘Innovative Connectivity Platform’ (MG-Jio ICP), which will be a standard feature in all upcoming MG vehicles, starting with the Windsor EV. This technology stack includes the MG App Store, offering in-car gaming, entertainment, and learning options, voice capabilities in six Indian languages, and a unique Home-to-Car functionality.
JSW MG Motor India’s strategic partnerships and initiatives, such as the MGDP and MG Nurture, have engaged over 1,500 startups and collaborated with more than 50 colleges to drive EV education and skill development.
