Islamabad, 28 Aug : The Pakistan Government has provided more health facilities for ex-Prime Minister Imran Khan, as his health condition is deteriorating in Attock Jail. A team of five doctors attending him have been deployed at the prison.
Imran Khan is serving a sentence in the Toshakhana corruption case. Meanwhile, his wife Bushra Bibi filed an affidavit saying that Imran’s life is in danger in jail. She also expressed fear that Imran could be poisoned in the jail.
Punjab province IG (Prison) Miyan Farukh Nazir visited the prison and met Imran Khan. Following his visit, more facilities for Imran were added.
Imran has alleged that his privacy is not being maintained, as the wall of his toilet is very short. The security cameras installed show everything. A new toilet was constructed in his barrack after his complaint. Imran Khan has been provided with a cushion, bedsheet, pillow, chair, and a cooler. A fan, space for prayer, an English copy of the Quran, some books, newspapers, dates and honey, tissue paper, perfume etc have also been provided. The food is checked by a team before it reaches Imran Khan.
