In a step towards strengthening urban infrastructure, the Greater Noida Authority has installed a total of 38 LED high mast lights in parks located across Sectors Beta, Gamma, and Zeta. The newly installed lighting system has significantly improved illumination levels, ensuring better visibility across park areas and enhancing safety and usability for residents during evening hours.
The LED high mast lights have been strategically placed to provide uniform lighting coverage throughout the parks. With this installation, visitors can now experience well-lit surroundings, making parks more accessible for recreational activities after sunset. Greater Noida Authority installed LED high mast lights in multiple sector parks, enhancing lighting infrastructure and improving safety for residents.
Public Dedication by Local Representative
The lighting facilities were formally dedicated to the public by Tejpal Nagar during an inauguration programme held in Sector Zeta Two. Addressing residents at the event, the MLA appreciated the efforts of the Greater Noida Authority in improving civic amenities and urban infrastructure.
He also assured residents that other local issues would be addressed on a priority basis and that continuous efforts would be made to enhance living conditions in the area. The initiative was welcomed by residents, who highlighted the importance of proper lighting in ensuring safety, especially during night hours.
Authority’s Plan for Expansion
Prerna Singh stated that similar LED high mast lighting installations will be extended to parks in other sectors as well. She emphasised that the Authority is committed to improving public infrastructure and ensuring that all sectors benefit from modern facilities.
Officials from the Electrical Engineering Department of the Authority were also present during the inauguration. Among them were senior officials including Saurabh Bhardwaj and Manager V.V. Rai, who have been involved in the execution of the project.
