Greater Noida | March 17, 2026 — Acting on the directions of CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar, the Greater Noida Authority carried out a demolition drive against encroachment in Bhanauta village, freeing a large parcel of land from illegal कब्जा.
10,000 Sq Meter Land Freed from Encroachment
During the action, approximately 10,000 square meters of land was cleared of illegal occupation. The estimated value of the recovered land is around ₹20 crore.
Officials stated that colonizers were attempting illegal plotting in the notified area, which is strictly prohibited under authority regulations.

Strict Action Against Illegal Construction
ACEO Sumit Yadav reiterated that no individual is allowed to carry out unauthorized construction or plotting in Greater Noida’s notified areas.
He advised citizens to:
Verify land details with the Authority before purchasing property
Avoid investing in illegal colonies
Stay cautious to prevent financial losses

Demolition Drive Led by Authority Officials
According to General Manager A.K. Singh, illegal construction was being carried out on Khasra No. 387 in Bhanauta village.
A team led by Senior Manager Narottam Singh, along with Manager Rohit Gupta and the Work Circle-II team, reached the site and demolished the unauthorized structures.
The operation lasted for about one hour, starting at around 2 PM, and successfully removed all illegal कब्जे from the site.
Ongoing Crackdown on Encroachments
The Authority confirmed that continuous action is being taken against illegal encroachments in notified areas as per the CEO’s strict directives.
Officials emphasized that such drives will continue to ensure planned development and prevent unauthorized colonies in Greater Noida.
