New Delhi, September 8 (HS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed confidence ahead of the G20 summit that the summit will pave a new path in human-centric and inclusive development. He said he hoped to have productive discussions with world leaders in the next two days. He said India also places great emphasis on a human-centric approach to pursuing progress. It is important to emulate Gandhiji’s mission of serving the underprivileged, the last man in line.

The Prime Minister gave information about his activities related to the G20 today on X. He said that India is delighted to host the 18th G20 Summit at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on September 9–10. This is the first G20 summit to be hosted by India. He looks forward to productive discussions with world leaders over the next two days.

The Prime Minister said that rooted in our cultural ethos, India’s G20 Presidency theme, ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: One Earth, One Family, One Future’ deeply resonates with our world view that the entire world is one family. India’s G20 presidency has been inclusive, ambitious, decisive, and action-oriented. We actively voiced the development concerns of the Global South.

He said he would hold bilateral meetings with several leaders and heads of delegations to further deepen the bonds of friendship and cooperation. They are confident that our guests will enjoy the warmth of Indian hospitality. Rashtrapatiji will host a dinner on September 9. On the 10th, leaders will pay tribute to Gandhiji at Rajghat. At the closing ceremony on the same day, G20 leaders will share their collective vision for a sustainable and equitable ‘One Future’, together as ‘One Family’ for a healthy ‘One Earth’.
