Today, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi welcomed a U.S. Congressional Delegation, led by Republican Congressman August Pfluger, Chairman of the Counterterrorism, Law Enforcement, and Intelligence Subcommittee, along with members from both Democratic and Republican parties. The meeting, attended by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Director of the General Intelligence Service Major General Abbas Kamel, served as a platform to underscore the robust and enduring strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States.
