Gautam Buddh Nagar | March 16, 2026 — A review meeting on the Integrated Grievance Redressal System (IGRS) portal was held at the Collectorate auditorium under the chairmanship of the District Magistrate of Gautam Buddh Nagar.
The meeting assessed the progress of complaint disposal and the feedback received from citizens regarding the handling of grievances registered on the IGRS portal.
Strict Instructions for Departments with Unsatisfactory Feedback
During the review, the District Magistrate expressed strong dissatisfaction over cases that received unsatisfactory feedback and departments falling under the defaulter category.
He directed Additional District Magistrate (Finance and Revenue) Atul Kumar to initiate departmental action against officers of departments where complaints have received negative feedback.

Daily Monitoring at State Level
The District Magistrate stated that the IGRS portal is monitored daily at the state level, and district rankings are determined based on the quality and timeliness of grievance redressal.
He informed that Gautam Buddh Nagar currently ranks 20th in the state and instructed officials to work towards improving the district’s performance.
The District Magistrate emphasised that negligence at any level in resolving complaints will not be tolerated.

Focus on Timely and Quality Resolution
Officials were instructed to ensure that citizens’ complaints are resolved promptly and effectively.
The District Magistrate also directed all officers to personally communicate with complainants over phone and resolve grievances within the stipulated timeframe.
Additionally, officers were instructed to monitor the IGRS portal daily in their respective offices to ensure timely action on complaints.
