Dhruvi Patel, a student of Computer Information Systems from the United States, has been crowned Miss India Worldwide 2024, marking a significant achievement in the longest-running Indian beauty pageant outside of India. The prestigious event took place in Edison, New Jersey, where Dhruvi Patel expressed her deep appreciation for the honor, stating, “Winning Miss India Worldwide is such an incredible honour. It’s more than a crown—it represents my heritage, my values, and the opportunity to inspire others on a global scale.”
Dhruvi Patel has aspirations beyond the pageant; she dreams of becoming a Bollywood actor and a UNICEF Ambassador, aiming to leverage her platform to make a positive impact. The event also recognized other outstanding contestants, with Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname taking home the first runner-up title, while Malvika Sharma from the Netherlands was named the second runner-up.
In the Mrs category, SuAnn Mouttet from Trinidad and Tobago emerged as the winner, with Sneha Nambiar securing the first runner-up position and Pawandip Kaur from the United Kingdom claiming the second runner-up title. The Teen category was also celebrated, with Sierra Suret from Guadeloupe crowned as Miss Teen India Worldwide, while Shreya Singh from the Netherlands and Shradha Tedjoe from Suriname were recognized as the first and second runners-up, respectively.
The beauty pageant, organized by the New York-based India Festival Committee, is led by Indian-Americans Neelam and Dharmatma Saran. This year’s event marks the 31st anniversary of the Miss India Worldwide crown, which continues to celebrate and promote Indian culture and talent on a global platform.
