Upon arriving at the gates of Dhoni’s sprawling farmhouse, he set up camp and patiently waited for nearly a week, enduring long hours in a tent. While he did manage to see MS Dhoni drive by on a couple of occasions, waving from his car, the cricketer did not stop to meet him, likely due to a busy schedule or perhaps unaware of Gaurav’s extensive efforts.
Undeterred, Gaurav took to social media to share his story, hoping it would reach MS Dhoni and prompt the former captain to meet him. This isn’t the first time Gaurav has attempted to meet his idol; during the Indian Premier League season, he had previously cycled from Delhi to Chennai with the same goal in mind, but his efforts were unsuccessful then as well.
