Bharatpur (Rajasthan) [India], November 18 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday launched an all-out attack on the Congress party, accusing it of “terrorism” and “atrocities” against women.

Attacking the grand old party over the alleged atrocities over the women in the state, PM Modi said, “Where there is Congress government, terrorism, atrocities, all these things, are unbridled there… For Congress appeasement is everything and for it, they can go to any level…”

The remarks were made while PM Modi was addressing a poll rally in Rajasthan’s Bharatpur.

Accusing Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over the issue of the safety of women in the state, PM Modi said, “Congress has broken the trust of the women in the state. Can the CM safeguard the women of the state who himself is saying that women register fake rape cases… Such a misogynistic party should be punished…”

“Congress ministers have a low mentality toward the women of the state… They say this (rape) is happening because Rajasthan is a land of men,” PM Modi said.

The PM said that the BJP has made a strong manifesto in Rajasthan and is resolved to improving law and order in the state.

“BJP’s resolve is to make Rajasthan the leading state of the country. BJP’s resolve is to attack corruption strongly in Rajasthan, to create a safe environment for our sisters and daughters,” PM said.

He also reiterated to fulfil the promises made by the Rajasthan unit of the BJP party.

“We will do our best to fulfil the promises made by Rajasthan BJP. These promises made to you will definitely be fulfilled, this is also Modi’s guarantee”.

Reminding Congress of their duty to protect the life of every citizen, PM said, Congress’s responsibility was to protect the life and property of every citizen. But in the last 5 years, crimes and atrocities against women, Dalits, tribals and the deprived have increased”.

Attacking the government over the law and order situation in the state, the Prime Minister said no festival passes by peacefully here.

“Be it Holi, Ramnavmi or Hanuman Jayanti, people cannot celebrate any festival peacefully here. Riots, stone pelting, curfew, all this continued in Rajasthan,” PM Modi alleged.

Voting in Rajasthan will be held on November 25.

On Friday, the voting concluded in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The first phase of the Chhattisgarh and Mizoram polls took place on November 7. The polling in Telangana will be held on November 30. The counting of votes for all the state assembly elections is scheduled for December 3. (ANI)
