The Greater Noida Authority took a significant step towards strengthening civic amenities with the inauguration of newly constructed community centres in Sectors 36, 37 and Swarn Nagari.
Three Modern Community Centres Dedicated to Residents
Residents of Sectors 36, 37 and Swarn Nagari received a major boost in civic infrastructure as the Greater Noida Authority completed and inaugurated three modern community centres on Saturday.
Jewar MLA Dhirendra Singh formally inaugurated the facilities in the presence of authority officials, local residents and RWA representatives.

Constructed at a Cost of ₹9.14 Crore
According to officials from the Authority’s project department, the three community centres were constructed by Work Circle-5 at a total cost of approximately ₹9.14 crore. The facilities aim to provide accessible and well-equipped community spaces within residential sectors.
Double-Storey Buildings with Modern Facilities
All three centres are double-storey structures featuring common halls, libraries, office rooms, separate toilets for men and women, and parking facilities. These amenities will support weddings, social gatherings, cultural events and community meetings.
MLA Appreciates Authority’s Initiatives
During the inauguration, MLA Dhirendra Singh appreciated the efforts of Greater Noida Authority CEO N G Ravi Kumar, stating that the community centres fulfill a long-standing demand of residents and reflect the Authority’s focus on civic welfare.

Sector-37 Centre Named ‘Maitreyi’
The community centre in Sector-37 was named “Maitreyi” during the inauguration ceremony. The MLA also urged residents to actively contribute towards maintaining cleanliness and civic discipline in the city.
Future Development Plans Highlighted
The MLA informed residents that plans for a world-class stadium in Sector-37 are progressing and that the area will see further infrastructural development in the coming years.
Officials and Residents Attend the Event
Senior officials from the Authority, including project, health and electrical engineering departments, attended the ceremony along with local residents and RWA members. The Authority reiterated its commitment to enhancing civic amenities and ensuring planned urban development across Greater Noida.
