Chhattisgarh Congress President Deepak Baij has strongly criticized the BJP government for its handling of crimes against women and the situation in Jammu and Kashmir. Baij accused the BJP-led state government of failing to protect women and questioned its effectiveness in combating terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir. He also announced a protest by the Congress’ women cell against rising crimes in the state and expressed support for athletes Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia joining the Congress party.
