The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has taken custody of Sanjay Ray, the prime accused in the rape and murder of a 31-year-old female trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College & Hospital in Kolkata. The CBI, which arrived from New Delhi, has launched a thorough investigation, including field investigations and forensic analysis, to determine whether Ray acted alone or had accomplices.
