The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is expected to announce the results of the CA Foundation examination for the January 2025 session in the first week of March. Candidates who appeared for the exam will be able to check their results on the official ICAI websites, icai.org and icaiexam.icai.org, by entering their login credentials. The results are eagerly awaited by thousands of aspiring chartered accountants who took the exam earlier this year.
The CA Foundation exams for the January 2025 session were conducted on January 12, 16, 18, and 20, with approximately 1,20,609 students appearing for the test across multiple centers. The ICAI has maintained a consistent schedule for releasing results, as seen last year when the Chartered Accountants Foundation examination results for December 2023/January 2024 were declared on February 7, 2024. Given this pattern, students are expecting the results to be announced within a similar timeframe this year.
Meanwhile, ICAI has also released the schedule for the upcoming May 2025 session of the CA exams. The CA Foundation exams for the May session will take place from May 15 to May 21. The CA Intermediate exams have been scheduled from May 3 to May 14, while the CA Final exams will be conducted between May 2 and May 13. Aspiring candidates are advised to prepare accordingly and keep track of important dates to ensure a smooth application process.
The application process for the CA May 2025 exams will commence on March 1, 2025. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until March 14, 2025. After this deadline, applications will still be accepted until March 17, 2025, but a late fee of Rs 600 or USD 10 will be applicable. ICAI has also provided students with the option to change their examination city or medium. Those who wish to make modifications to their exam details will be able to do so during the correction window, which will be open from March 18 to March 20, 2025.
With the results of the CA Foundation January session expected soon and the May session approaching, ICAI is ensuring that students have ample time to prepare and complete the necessary formalities for their upcoming exams. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official ICAI websites for the latest updates regarding results, applications, and exam schedules.
