Panaji (Goa) [India], January 31 (ANI): On Wednesday, BJP Goa Lok Sabha election incharge Ashish Sood showed confidence in winning both the seats in the state with a huge margin adding that the party doesn’t believe in the north and south divide in Goa.

“BJP is preparing for Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the entire country. PM Narendra Modi has a visit planned for India Energy Week. We work for 12 months, around the year. We reach a maximum number of people through our work. It is the target of BJP’s central leadership, PM Modi, the party president to get 55pc of the popular vote in the polls. We have discussed on the same during our meeting in Goa. We don’t believe in the north and south divide in Goa,” said Ashish Sood.

He stated that the party reached a large number of the population and worked for the upliftment of all which in return will ensure them victory in the Lok Sabha election 2024.

“We work for the welfare of people. We have tried our best to reach even those states and regions where we haven’t got votes. We have worked to benefit people through the schemes launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi without discriminating, without thinking of votes. So there is no reason that the divide between north and south remains,” added Ashish Sood.

He hailed the PM’s efforts combined with the implementation of the scheme done by the state government.

“Because of efforts by PM Modi, central government schemes have reached till the last beneficiary. The double-engine government implemented the schemes in the state. I am sure that we will win both the seats with big margins in Goa,” said Ashish Sood.

He further emphasised on BJP’s strategy to work for the welfare of all without discriminating on caste and religion.

“BJP works for the benefit of 140 crore of the population without discriminating based on caste, religion and community. We don’t think who is from where. Our target is to work for the welfare of everyone,” added Ashish Sood.

“Only a double-engine government can ensure developed Goa along with developed India,” he added further.

On being asked about the ticket distribution amongst party members in the state, Ashish Sood stated that “PM Modi, parliamentary board, and party top brass will decide on ticket distribution in the state.” (ANI)
