Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a pointed critique against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi during a press conference in Delhi. Arvind Kejriwal, fresh out of jail on interim bail, challenged the BJP’s leadership and questioned Modi’s future in politics.
Addressing reporters, Arvind Kejriwal queried the BJP’s lack of clarity on their prime ministerial candidate, contrasting it with PM Modi’s impending 75th birthday in 2025. He highlighted PM Modi’s own rule that leaders retire after 75, citing examples of retired BJP stalwarts like Lal Krishna Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sumitra Mahajan, and Yashwant Sinha.
Arvind Kejriwal alleged that PM Modi’s retirement is imminent, slated for September 17, 2025. He speculated on BJP’s succession plans, suggesting Yogi Adityanath might be replaced by Amit Shah as the prime ministerial candidate.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal questioned who would fulfill “Modi Ki Guarantee,” insinuating that Amit Shah would be the one to deliver on promises made by Modi.
Arvind Kejriwal’s remarks aimed to sway BJP voters, urging them to recognize that their votes are indirectly for Amit Shah rather than Modi.
This critique from Arvind Kejriwal underscores the ongoing political maneuvering and speculation surrounding BJP’s leadership dynamics.
