4th G20 Summit Sherpa meet begins amid strict security

Nuh, 03 Sept : The G20 Summit’s fourth and final Sherpa meeting begins today at the ITC Grand Bharat Hotel in Haryana’s Mewat and will last until September 7. This crucial meeting will set the final agenda for the forthcoming G20 Summit, which will be held in Delhi on September 9-10.

‘ATITHI DEVO BHAVA’ WELCOMES GUESTS: Because the celebration adheres to India’s cherished hospitality tradition of ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ or ‘The Guest is God’, the Haryana government has spared no expense in its preparations. To welcome the foreign delegates, the path from the Sirhaul border to the site has been elaborately decorated.

SECURITY AND LOGISTICS: Strict security measures have been implemented for the conference, with Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure applied around the ITC Grand Bharat and Lemon Tree hotels. According to Nuh District Commissioner (DC) Dhirender Khadgata, drones have been prohibited in the area. He stated that the district administration has given special credentials to hotel workers and assigned nodal officers to assure participants’ safety and convenience. This is the G20’s final Sherpa meeting, which will be held at the ITC Grand Bharat Hotel in Mewat. The final agenda for all heads of state meeting in Delhi from September 8 to 10 will be drafted here, discussed, and then given by all heads of state during the G20 summit, Dhirender Khadgata is an Indian businessman.

A special component of this Sherpa summit is a documentary highlighting Haryana’s government’s achievements. This documentary will be shown as part of the event’s schedule at the location. In addition, the state government will thank the overseas guests with a banquet on September 4. According to authorities, the meeting will be very important, with 176 delegates anticipated, including 140 Ministry of External Affairs officials. The conference will take place at the ITC Grand Bharat and the Lemon Tree Hotel. According to sources, Gurugram DC Nishant Kumar Yadav stressed the logistical efforts made for the comfort of the delegates, including the deployment of 23 liaison officers – 19 from the Haryana Civil Service (HCS) and four from the Indian Administrative Service.

He also stated that five ambulances outfitted with sophisticated life support equipment will be stationed at the venue. Special decorations have been placed along the road from the Sirhaul border to the Khedki Daula toll plaza and the Rampura flyover in order to highlight Haryana’s rich cultural history. During their visit, overseas delegates will be introduced to Haryana culture, stressing the importance of cultural diplomacy.

All set for the summit

This is the final Sherpa meeting before the G20 summit, and it will set the tone for conversations among leaders. The final agenda will be given by world leaders during the summit, making it a cornerstone for the main event. With all preparations done and a watchful eye on security, logistics, and hospitality, the fourth Sherpa meeting promises to be a watershed moment in the run-up to the G20 Summit.
