Kyiv, 07 Sept (HS): At least 17 people were killed and 32 others injured in a missile attack by Russia on a market in Donetsk region in Ukraine, CNN reported quoting Unkarine’s Internal Affairs Minister Ihor Klymenko.
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said that a child was among the 17 dead. Shmyhal earlier said that Russian troops are terrorists who will not be left in peace.
According to reports, a Russian S-300 missile landed in the middle of the town, following which thick smoke emanated and fire broke out.
Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called the attack inhuman. He said that the number of casualties may increase. “The Russian evil must be defeated as soon as possible, he added.
