The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, H.E. Mr. Dmytro Kuleba, embarked on an official visit to India spanning March 28-29, 2024, marking a significant step in bilateral diplomacy between the two nations.
During his visit, Minister Kuleba held key meetings with prominent Indian officials, including External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and Deputy National Security Adviser Shri Vikram Misri.
The focal point of discussions between Minister Kuleba and EAM Jaishankar on March 29, 2024, centered on enhancing bilateral relations across multiple sectors such as trade, investment, science and technology, defense, agriculture, health, culture, and education.
Furthermore, both ministers engaged in a dedicated dialogue concerning the India-Ukraine Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical, Industrial, and Cultural Cooperation, and its associated working groups. Mutual agreement was reached to convene the 7th IGC meeting later in the year, reflecting the commitment to deepen cooperation.
The exchange of perspectives on regional and global issues encompassed a thorough exploration of the ongoing conflict and endeavors toward attaining a peaceful resolution.
The visit underscores the significance of regular high-level interactions and the functioning of bilateral mechanisms in bolstering the robust and diversified partnership between India and Ukraine.
