Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar reached Chittorgarh on Tuesday. On reaching the Sainik School here, he was welcomed by a guard of honour. Dhankhar reached his teacher’s residence in Shastri Nagar and took his blessings. He stayed here for a long time and talked to everyone with more intimacy. He later proceeded to Sainik School, where he addressed the students.
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar landed on the helipad of Sainik School Chittorgarh at around 10 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Here he was welcomed by a guard of honour. He then reached the residence of his Sainik School teacher, Harpal Singh Rathi, in Chittorgarh Shastri Nagar, Chittorgarh. During this, there were tight security arrangements in the entire Shastri Nagar. Rathi used to teach him chemistry at Sainik School. After meeting his teacher after a long time, the Vice President took his blessings by touching his feet. Here he stayed for about 25 minutes.
The Vice President spoke very intimately to his teacher, Rathi, and his family members. During this, the neighbours of teacher Rathi also came on the roofs and made videos. After meeting here, he left for Sainik School. On the way, outside Meeranagar School, school students were chanting Bharat Mata. Seeing them, the Vice President also raised his hand and greeted them.
Talking about the Vice President’s school days, his teacher Rathi said that he was one of the best hockey and football players in the school. He said that I clearly remember that it was due to Jagdeep’s performance that Sanga House won the overall championship in 1967. Jagdeep Dhankhar has reached Sainik School, Chittorgarh, for the first time after becoming Vice President. He got his education here from 1962 to 1967.
Dhankhar left for Udaipur by helicopter at around 12.30 p.m. The Vice President will address the ongoing two-day 9th CPA India Region Conference as the Chief Guest at Udaipur.
