The Agriculture Department in Gautam Buddh Nagar has completed the e-lottery process for selecting beneficiaries under the Dhaincha Scheme and Urad Mini Kit Scheme. The digital selection process was conducted under the supervision of the Chief Development Officer to ensure transparency and fair distribution of agricultural benefits among registered farmers.
According to the district agriculture department, farmers had applied online through the departmental portal for both schemes. Under the Dhaincha Scheme, the district received a target allocation for 300 farmers, while a total of 390 applications were registered. Similarly, under the Urad Mini Kit Scheme, 26 farmers applied against a target of 25 seed packets. Since the number of applications exceeded the available targets, authorities conducted an e-lottery to finalize the list of beneficiaries.
Selected farmers will now be able to collect Dhaincha seeds and Urad mini kits from designated seed warehouses within one week.
Rising Participation of Farmers in Government Agricultural Schemes
