Telugu film actors Jr NTR, Allu Arjun, and Chiranjeevi exercised their right to vote early in the morning on May 13 as voting commenced for the Lok Sabha polls in the states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
Jr NTR and Allu Arjun, prominent figures in the Telugu film industry, were among the early voters, arriving at their respective polling booths accompanied by family members. Jr NTR was joined by his wife, Lakshmi Pranathi, and mother, Shalini Nandamuri, as they cast their votes at the Obul Reddy Public school in Jubilee Hills. Similarly, Allu Arjun, accompanied by bouncers, skipped the queue and cast his vote at his polling booth, greeted by supporters in his ward.
Addressing the media after voting, Allu Arjun emphasized the importance of casting votes, stating his neutrality towards political affiliations and expressing support for those close to him. Megastar Chiranjeevi, accompanied by his wife Surekha and daughter Sushmita, also cast their votes and urged everyone to fulfill their responsibility by voting.
Meanwhile, Nandamuri Kalyanram, another prominent figure in the Telugu film industry, also participated in the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections.
The 4th phase of polling marks the culmination of weeks of campaigning in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Odisha.
On the work front, Jr NTR is currently busy shooting for director Koratala Siva’s upcoming film, ‘Devara’, slated to release in two parts, with the first installment scheduled for September. Allu Arjun is engrossed in the shooting of ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, directed by Sukumar, set for release on August 15, 2024. Chiranjeevi, on the other hand, is gearing up for his next project, ‘Vishwambhara’.
The participation of these actors in the electoral process adds a touch of glamour to the Lok Sabha elections, reflecting the significance of exercising one’s democratic rights.
