Telangana is preparing to host one of its most ambitious international events, the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, designed as a Davos-style gathering that showcases the state’s emerging economic vision, technological ambition and determination to position itself as a global hub for innovation and investment. Scheduled for December 8 and 9 at Bharat Future City, the summit seeks to bring together leaders from industry, governance, academia, multilateral institutions and creative sectors to ignite discussions that could shape the state’s trajectory over the next two decades. Conceived and organised by the Chief Minister’s Office, the summit mirrors the structure and ethos of the World Economic Forum while adapting it to Telangana’s unique developmental priorities and aspirations.

A High-Profile Gathering To Showcase Telangana’s Growth Vision

The state government has curated an extraordinary lineup of attendees representing global business, policy, finance and development sectors. Senior delegates from the World Health Organisation, the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and UNICEF are expected to participate, underscoring the summit’s international relevance. Alongside them will be leaders of India’s largest corporate houses and CEOs of major multinational companies deeply invested in sectors such as technology, energy, health, mobility, and digital services. Organisations including BCG, Micron India, Hitachi Energy, Apollo Hospitals, Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Swiggy, AWS, NASSCOM, DRDO and Amul have confirmed their participation, reflecting the summit’s ability to attract influential institutions across domains.

The event is designed to highlight Telangana’s rapid growth, its strengths in information technology and advanced manufacturing, and the government’s long-term plan to transform the state into a $3 trillion economy by 2047. The chief minister, A Revanth Reddy, is overseeing the preparations personally, ensuring that the summit’s execution meets global standards of infrastructure, logistics and hospitality. The event is expected to elevate the state’s global profile and reassure investors that Telangana is committed to sustainable, innovation-driven development.

Over its two days, the summit will feature twenty-seven extensive panel discussions aimed at exploring critical sectors shaping the next phase of economic expansion. These panels encompass a wide spectrum of focus areas including energy transition, green mobility, semiconductor manufacturing, biotechnology, healthcare systems, next-generation education, tourism, creative industries, agricultural transformation, industry restructuring, urban infrastructure, women entrepreneurship and the fast-growing gig economy. Startups and emerging enterprises will also find a platform, with discussions centred on building a resilient innovation ecosystem capable of competing globally.

The government envisions the summit as a catalyst for long-term strategic collaboration, a place where future-ready policies are debated and partnerships forged. As global uncertainty influences markets and investment flows, Telangana seeks to demonstrate stability, preparedness and ambition. The summit offers a space not just for announcements and presentations but for direct engagement between policymakers, investors and experts who can shape new avenues of cooperation.

Adding a distinctive dimension to the event, the summit also integrates voices from sports and entertainment to emphasise the value of soft power and cultural influence in global outreach. Esteemed athletes including PV Sindhu, Anil Kumble, Pullela Gopichand, Gagan Narang and Jwala Gutta will lead a session titled Olympic Gold Quest, which reflects Telangana’s growing commitment to nurturing sporting excellence. Their participation offers insight into the evolving sports ecosystem in India and the opportunities for states to elevate talent development.

In the creative segment, renowned filmmakers and cultural figures such as SS Rajamouli, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sukumar, Guneet Monga and Anupama Chopra will headline a session on Creative Century – Soft Power and Entertainment. This panel is expected to explore how cinema, digital media and creative storytelling can amplify India’s global influence and drive cultural industries as engines of economic opportunity. Telangana, home to Hyderabad’s flourishing film and digital production ecosystem, hopes to position itself as a major cultural and innovation hub.

Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document To Anchor The Summit’s Strategic Roadmap

One of the most anticipated moments of the summit will be the unveiling of the Telangana Rising 2047 Vision Document. This comprehensive blueprint outlines the state’s long-term development goals, policy architecture and projected investment pathways designed to elevate Telangana into a $3 trillion economy by the year India celebrates its centenary of independence. The document is expected to highlight detailed frameworks for technology partnerships, innovation corridors, green infrastructure expansion, industrial acceleration and inclusive social development.

The vision document brings together economic modelling, sector-wise growth strategies and governance reforms aimed at strengthening institutions while empowering communities. It signals Telangana’s intent to build not just a high-growth economy but one rooted in sustainability, equality and future-ready skills. It will also emphasise the role of digital transformation, renewable energy, research collaborations and global partnerships in shaping the state’s next chapter of growth.

Senior ministers and high-level officials have been coordinating extensively to ensure that the summit reflects professionalism, efficiency and world-class organisation. Delegates from across the world will experience curated hospitality, advanced conference facilities and seamlessly executed logistics. Hosting the event at Bharat Future City aligns with the summit’s themes of innovation, as the location is envisioned as a futuristic township built around technological integration and sustainable urban design.

With countries competing increasingly for investment and talent, Telangana aims to use this summit to signal that the state is ready to embrace the opportunities of the new global economy. The government’s strategy focuses on fostering an environment where advanced industries can thrive, skilled professionals can innovate, and international investors feel confident in long-term commitments. The summit’s discussions are expected to shape government priorities, influence policy frameworks and encourage partnerships that endure far beyond the event itself.

Moreover, the presence of global development agencies highlights Telangana’s interest in aligning its growth with international standards of social welfare, climate responsiveness and equitable progress. The panels on health, education and social security are expected to address challenges facing fast-growing economies, including the need to balance expansion with inclusivity and resilience. Similarly, the sessions dedicated to women entrepreneurs and the gig workforce reflect the government’s acknowledgment of changing labour dynamics and its intent to support broader participation in the economic landscape.

Through this summit, Telangana positions itself not merely as a destination for investment but as a state with a compelling narrative of aspiration, innovation and global engagement. The event is expected to attract substantial attention from international media and investors, generating momentum that could accelerate future collaborations. With the chief minister taking a hands-on role in shaping the summit, the government aims to demonstrate seriousness, stability and strategic intent.
