The Residents’ Welfare Association of Sector 117, Noida, has formally acknowledged and appreciated the proactive administrative leadership of the Noida Authority for expediting and completing several long-pending civic and infrastructure works in the sector, significantly improving living conditions and restoring residents’ confidence in responsive urban governance. Through a detailed letter of appreciation, the association highlighted the timely intervention, effective monitoring and coordinated execution of development works that were initiated after a site inspection conducted in September 2025 and completed within a short span of three months.
The recognition was extended to A.K. Arora, General Manager, Noida Authority, whose on-ground inspection and subsequent administrative follow-up played a decisive role in addressing multiple civic issues that had remained unresolved for a considerable period. Residents noted that the visible transformation in the sector stands as an example of how focused leadership and institutional coordination can translate public grievances into concrete outcomes within defined timelines.

Administrative Intervention and Completion of Pending Infrastructure Works
According to the Residents’ Welfare Association of Sector 117, the inspection conducted by the Noida Authority leadership on September 12, 2025, marked a turning point for the sector, where several development works had been pending for a long time. During the inspection, representatives of the RWA presented a comprehensive list of issues affecting the sector, including incomplete boundary walls, degraded green belts, inadequate sanitation arrangements and the need for improved maintenance of public spaces.
Following the inspection, the authority initiated swift action on most of the concerns raised. One of the most significant achievements highlighted by the residents was the completion of the remaining boundary walls of the sector’s green belts. These boundary walls, which had been left incomplete for years, posed both safety and maintenance challenges. Their completion has not only enhanced the visual appeal of the green belts but has also helped in preventing encroachment and misuse of these areas.
Particular attention was also drawn to the green belt located near Gate Number 3, where the boundary wall had sunk to a dangerously low level over time. The Noida Authority undertook corrective structural work by raising the height of the boundary wall and installing wire fencing, thereby restoring safety and durability. Residents described this intervention as a long-awaited solution that addressed both security concerns and aesthetic degradation in a sensitive area of the sector.
The RWA noted that the speed with which these works were completed demonstrated a clear shift towards time-bound execution. What had earlier remained pending due to procedural delays and lack of follow-up was completed within three months, reflecting improved coordination between officials, engineers and on-ground staff of the authority.

Improved Sanitation, Green Maintenance and Civic Services in Sector 117
Beyond structural improvements, residents emphasised the substantial enhancement in sanitation and routine maintenance services across Sector 117. One of the persistent concerns raised earlier was the shortage of sanitation workers, which resulted in irregular cleaning and accumulation of waste in public areas. Responding to this issue, the Noida Authority increased the number of sanitation workers deployed in the sector, ensuring regular and comprehensive cleanliness across residential streets, parks and common spaces.
As a result, residents reported noticeable improvement in daily cleanliness, with waste collection becoming more systematic and public areas remaining consistently clean. The association observed that improved sanitation has had a direct positive impact on the overall hygiene, health and quality of life in the sector, particularly for senior citizens, children and families.
The maintenance of parks and green belts also witnessed a marked improvement. Regular weeding, trimming and cleaning of parks and green areas are now being carried out in a timely manner, restoring these spaces as functional recreational zones for residents. The RWA noted that sustained maintenance has revived the greenery of the sector and reinforced the role of green belts as essential ecological buffers within an urban setting.
In its communication, the Residents’ Welfare Association expressed collective gratitude not only to the General Manager but also to all concerned officers and employees of the Noida Authority who contributed to the execution of these works. The association acknowledged that effective governance is the result of coordinated efforts at multiple levels, from planning and supervision to execution and ground-level implementation.
The appreciation letter also conveyed the residents’ confidence that this positive administrative approach would continue in the future. The RWA expressed optimism that ongoing cooperation between the authority and residents would ensure sustained development, timely resolution of issues and consistent improvement in civic infrastructure.
The acknowledgment from Sector 117 stands as a reflection of growing public trust in responsive governance, where citizen feedback, administrative accountability and timely action converge to deliver tangible improvements in urban living standards.
