Russian social media influencer Tatyana Ozolina, known as “MotoTanya,” dubbed as “Russia’s most beautiful biker”tragically died in a motorbike accident in Turkey on Wednesday. The 38-year-old was riding her red BMW S1000RR 2015 when she lost control and collided with a truck. Despite the rapid response of emergency services, Ozolina was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident occurred as Ozolina, who was traveling with other bikers, veered off course and crashed into the truck. Turkish media outlet Turkiye Today reported that Onur Obut, a Turkish biker accompanying her, sustained serious injuries and is currently hospitalized. A third rider at the scene escaped unharmed. Authorities are still investigating the accident’s circumstances.
Ozolina, renowned for her global motorcycle adventures, boasted over 1 million Instagram followers and 2 million YouTube subscribers. She was celebrated as “Russia’s most beautiful biker” and had a significant following for her Moto vlogging content. Her final Instagram post expressed her disappointment at being unable to enter Europe but showed her determination to continue exploring Turkey.
According to media reports, Ozolina’s bike was struck by another rider group, causing her to brake abruptly and crash into the truck. She suffered fatal injuries and died before the arrival of the ambulance. Her family, including her 13-year-old son, is reported to be in shock.
In a heartfelt tribute, Andrei Ivanov, head of the MotoMoscow Association, mourned her passing. “MotoTanya is not with us anymore…she had a bright and beautiful life…. Millions of people followed her. Perhaps there is not a single motorcyclist in the country who was indifferent to Tatyana. She was adored, envied, admired, copied, awarded as a top blogger and, at the same time, discussed and slandered. Now all that remains is her memory. Sleep well.”
