-Under the banner of “Operation Nanhe Faristey,” the RPF emerged as a beacon of hope for families separated from their loved ones. Their dedicated efforts led to the heartening reunion of over 549 lost children with their families, providing solace and relief in distressing times.
-The RPF’s unwavering vigilance saved the lives of 233 passengers through “Operation Jeevan Raksha.” Their prompt action prevented potentially fatal accidents as individuals inadvertently found themselves perilously close to moving train wheels.
-Recognizing the vulnerability of women passengers, the RPF launched the “Meri Saheli” initiative, symbolizing a commitment to their safety. With 229 teams attending 13,615 trains and providing security assurance to 4.1 lakh lady passengers, this initiative stands as a testament to the RPF’s dedication to gender-sensitive policing.
-In a crackdown against touts through “Operation Uplabdh,” the RPF arrested 379 individuals and seized illicitly obtained railway tickets valued at Rs. 44.46 lakhs. This decisive action underscores the RPF’s resolve to uphold the integrity of ticketing systems and protect passengers from exploitation.
-In the relentless fight against drug crimes, “Operation NARCOS” resulted in the arrest of 76 individuals and the seizure of narcotics worth Rs. 4.13 crores. By collaborating with government agencies, the RPF ensures that perpetrators of such crimes face appropriate legal consequences.
-The RPF’s responsiveness to passenger concerns is exemplified through the Rail Madad Portal and Helpline (No. 139), where over 19,738 complaints were promptly addressed in January 2024. This commitment to accountability and transparency fosters trust and confidence among railway passengers.
-Operation “Yatri Suraksha” saw the RPF apprehending 225 criminals involved in offenses against passengers, emphasizing their role in preventing and detecting crimes within railway premises.
-With a relentless focus on safety, “Operation Sanraksha” resulted in the arrest of 53 individuals engaged in the dangerous act of stone pelting on running trains, safeguarding both passengers and railway infrastructure.
-In a testament to their humanitarian ethos, “Operation Seva” provided assistance to 227 elderly, sick, or injured passengers during their rail travels, reflecting the RPF’s commitment to serving those in need.
-Lastly, “Operation Satark” targeted the transportation of illegal goods, resulting in the seizure of contraband worth Rs. 30.15 lakhs and apprehension of 86 individuals.
