Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings on the occasion of National Handloom Day, emphasizing the rich heritage and tradition of handlooms in India. The day marks the importance of the handloom sector in preserving the country’s culture and supporting local artisans. Celebrated annually on August 7, this year’s event features a special celebration at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi, with Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar as the chief guest.
