Musheerabad (Telangana) [India], November 25 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party National President JP Nadda on Saturday said that the people of Telangana want to get rid of Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samiti and will take a decision in favour of the BJP.

JP Nadda held a roadshow at Musheerabad in Telangana to showcase his party’s popularity in the state.

BJP’s National President told ANI, “We can see how even at this time of night, people are coming in such large numbers and taking one-sided decisions in favour of BJP. The people of Telangana have accepted that BRS is steeped in corruption. So now they want to get rid of them. The people of Telangana also want to get rid of Congress, which is known for corruption and has always willed to work against development.”

“People are supporting the BJP with great enthusiasm. Our government is coming to power in Rajasthan also. We are winning in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh also,” he added.

Earlier today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday targetted Congress and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao saying that both never believed in the politics of development adding that every vote given to the grand old party in the upcoming Telangana elections will strengthen the ruling Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Addressing an election rally in Rangareddy’s Maheshwaram, Prime Minister Modi said, “People of Telangana are eager to give a chance to BJP. Telangana has turmeric, talent, tradition, and technology but still, Telangana could not get its right place due to BRS’s bad governance. But time is changing now. Your rising trust in the BJP will take Telangana to new heights. Congress and KCR don’t believe in politics of development.”

The state of Telangana is set to undergo assembly polls on November 30.

The ruling BRS, Congress and BJP are the main contestants in the state. The counting of votes will take place on December 3. (ANI)
