Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], November 17 (ANI): Union Minister Chirag Paswan said that people have made up their minds to see that this double-engine government continues in Maharashtra.

Union Minister Chirag Paswan also took a dig at the opposition alliance, Maha Vikas Aghadi.

“The people’s trust in the current government in Maharashtra is increasing with each passing day. People want this double-engine government in Maharashtra to continue in the coming days. The people have made up their minds about this. We can see the enthusiasm in the people towards our alliance. The opposition has gotten people’s votes by scaring them and telling lies to them. That’s why PM Narendra Modi has said that ‘Ek hain to safe hain’,” Chirag Paswan told ANI.

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday held a roadshow in Nagpur days before the Assembly polls in the state.

Speaking to reporters, Fadnavis conveyed that the love he is getting from the people here, clearly states that people want to form the Mahayuti government again in Maharashtra.

“The love of the people here is proof that people want to form the Mahayuti government again in Maharashtra,” he said.

Campaigning has intensified for the 288 assembly seats in Maharashtra with both the ruling Mahayuti and the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) making efforts to woo the electorate.

The opposition MVA coalition, comprising Congress, Shiv Sena (UBT), and the Nationalist Congress Party (SCP), seeks to reclaim power in the state, challenging the Mahayuti alliance, which includes Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Ajit Pawar-led NCP. (ANI)

Voting for the 288-member Maharashtra assembly is scheduled to be held on November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23. (ANI)
