Indian Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra is poised to compete domestically for the first time since his historic victory at the Tokyo Olympics. As he gears up to defend his title at the upcoming Paris Olympics scheduled from July 26 to August 11, Neeraj Chopra will participate in the 27th National Federation Cup athletics championships in Odisha. The event is slated to take place at the Kalinga Stadium, Bhubaneswar, from May 12 to May 15.
Neeraj Chopra’s appearance at the Federation Cup marks his return to domestic competition since the 2021 edition of the same event. Prior to the Federation Cup, he will showcase his prowess at the Doha Diamond League meet on May 10, competing in the men’s javelin throw alongside compatriot Kishore Jena.
