Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has declared total assets worth ₹71.07 crore, according to an affidavit filed with the Election Commission. This marks an increase of over ₹7 crore from the ₹63.87 crore reported in 2019. The declaration was made as Naveen Patnaik filed his nomination for the Hinjili assembly segment, seeking election for a sixth term.
The affidavit, which spans 64 pages, details Naveen Patnaik’s holdings, including movable assets of over ₹14.05 crore and immovable properties valued at ₹57.02 crore. Among the significant assets listed are a ₹13.66 crore residence known as Naveen Niwas in Bhubaneswar and a ₹43.35 crore property on APJ Abdul Kalam Road in New Delhi. Naveen Patnaik owns a 50 percent share in the New Delhi home and a two-thirds share in the Bhubaneswar property.
Additional personal assets disclosed include 45.77 grams of rubies, diamonds, and silver buttons valued at approximately ₹4.17 lakh. The Chief Minister also reported having ₹30,000 in cash and owning a 1980-model Ambassador car, presently valued at ₹6,434, down from ₹8,905 five years ago.
In his financial disclosures, Naveen Patnaik reported an income of ₹92,24,900 for the fiscal year 2022-23 and stated he has no liabilities or criminal cases against him. This financial declaration comes as Naveen Patnaik prepares for the upcoming electoral contest in his state assembly constituency.
